MISSION
At Sunshine International Preschool of Sarajevo we believe that children’s developmental needs will be completely met if we respect their right to explore their environment and acquire new experiences by participating in teacher-directed and child-initiated activities in which they get a chance to fully develop all five senses. We use modern teaching and learning approaches and a unique, child-centered curriculum, professionally designed to integrate all learning areas with character education elements to meet the needs of the whole child. In our low teacher/student ratio classes we provide children with the freedom to move, choose activities and peers to play with, and express themselves which fosters their proper development, self-motivation, independence, confidence, respect and empathy for one another. We strongly encourage a collaborative parent-teacher-child relationship which allows teachers to create a loving and safe home-like environment which liberates children to explore, create, thrive and learn how to become educated citizens ready to serve society.
