My name is Sanela Avdic. I am a young, energetic, educated, caring and
responsible child care professional, looking for full or part time
employment.
For the past four years I worked as a teaching assistant at QSI
International School of Sarajevo. There I daily assisted 1st grade teacher in
care and education of the children. Last year in addition to my regular
responsibilities I had a special assignment: a child with special needs was in
our class. I was praised for my conduct and care for this child by both parents
and school staff.
Before QSI I worked for seven years as a nanny for two different
families. First family has three children, age 7, 4 and 4 and second family has
two toddler children. I took full responsibility for the children while their
parents were at work. That included collecting them from school/pre-school,
preparing two healthy meals plus snacks every day and arranging and supervising
constructive playtime activities and playdates. I worked evenings and additional
hours as needed. When needed, I also assisted with medical appointments and
cared for the children if they were sick.
I speak English and Bosnain fluently and am proficient in children's
literature in both languages.
