Our previous nanny, Alma, is currently looking for a new position. She
was employed with us from June 2010 to July 2011 while we were in
Sarajevo, during which time she cared for our twins (16 months when we
left last winter).
During that time, Alma was absolutely fantastic. She was highly
responsible, reliable, perceptive and helpful in her work with us and
the twins.
She was very astute when balancing the need for initiative with
respect for boundaries, in a way which is necessary when working in
close proximity with a family. With the children she was brilliant –
calm, enthusiastic, warm and energetic. Needless to say, they adored
her.
In terms of the work she is willing to engage in, she loves working
with children but is also happy to do some cleaning or other work
around the house (in fact, she is extremely talented at combining the
two!). She is willing to work casually, part or full time.
