Indoor playground: Tvornica Radosti

A new (as of winter 2011) indoor playground, "tvornica radosti" (happiness factory), has opened directly on Ferhadija street, number 10b, near to the eternal flame.
It's suitable for children from 1-5 maybe also older ones. It's not the cocoloco type of playground (no junglegyms or the like) but has lots of toys as well as bunnies, fish and parrots. The TV is usually off (as opposed to Happy Town in Alta shopping center) and it's got couches outside the actual playing room where parents can enjoy a coffee or juice.

Indoor playground Bambi 2

In the cellar of the new Importanne Shopping/business Center on Zmaja od Bosne a new indoor playground/igraonica has opened. Its name is Bambi 2.

There is a new IGRAONICA ( indoor playground for children) in Grbavica. It is clean, nonsmoking and very nice for those who are looking for a place to take their kids to socialise and play with other kids. It is just behind the Grbavica football stadium. Indoor playground / igraonica "HOKUS POKUS"

HOKUS POKUS is a indoor play centre which has opened close to UNITIC building in Kranjceviceva 13 (by car: from the centre take the main road out of town towards Mostar and turn right at the UNITIC building, turn left at the end of the street and take the next left at the supermarket Konzum, take the next street on the left and the centre is at the very end of this street up one flight of stairs. It is difficult to park but there is a pay parking if you take the second street on the left after Konzum. Walking: go down by the side of the UNITIC buildings and when you come out of that complex the centre is in the first building on the right). The working hours are from 08:00 - 21:00 and the phone number is 063 954 409. It is a very nice spacious place where you can organise birthday parties, creative workshops, have somewhere to play on a snowy day, etc. It is worth checking out. It is a smaller operation than Coco Loco or Bambi, it’s more like a day-care centre. There is one slide, 2 small trampolines, a play house plus many toys and writing materials. Children who are 3 or over can be left there and they will be taken care of and entertained. Cost 5km per hour per child.

Zagrebačka, 55, (take the road to Grbavica from Skenderija, go past the OHR building on the left and further along that street which is Zagrebačka there are some small shops including a toy shop, turn left at the second set of traffic lights after these shops, Bambi is between some tall apartment buildings). Tel 033 718166, fax 033 523550. Cost 3km per hour everyday. Open Mon-Fri 12-9pm, Sat-Sun 12-8pm. There is no café there but there is a coffee machine and table and chairs. They can organise parties for children upon request. NB/ They advise us to phone before we come to make sure there are no parties going on.

Indoor playground / igraonica "Coco Loco"

Kolodvorska 12 (in the Interex complex near the shop Bagatela - take the main road out of town towards Mostar and turn right at sign for Pofalići, then take the first left and turn right into the shopping complex), tel 033 719695, web – coco_loco_sa@yahoo.com. Cost: 5km per hour everyday except Wednesday when the cost is 3km per hour (if you pay for 2 hours the 3rd one is free). They issue loyalty cards on request which is stamped every time you go and the 10th entrance is free. Open Mon-Sun 9am-9pm. There is a café there providing drinks and snack food including French fries. They can organise parties for children upon request.
